Tjeerd Reniers, 27 years old
Up until Season 30, Tjeerd Reniers served as our team mate+. He got a few opportunities, but he was mostly used to help Roman Petrescu and Piet van Dongen up in the mountains. These guys are getting old though, and Tjeerd has seized this opportunity to pronounce himself as the new leader of Twente Cycling Team.
Tjeerd Reniers started his period as the undoubted captain with his first ever career win, at Selfoss - Hafnarfjordur. He then went on to get top 3 results in Hemsedal GP, Canejan - Les and Climbs of Peta. Currently he is the main provider of OCM World Tour points at Twente Cycling, with a whopping 271 points, which is 59% of our total points.
In the upcoming weeks, we expect him to only add to this total. Starting at Betchat Critérium, where he is once again one of the outsiders to win, Tjeerd Reniers will look to continue his outstanding season.
Piet van Dongen about Tjeerd Reniers: "Tjeerd is such a terrific talent. Going up and down a mountain, he is one of the best riders in the world. I want to reward him for all the hard work he did in the past for my results. I would do anything for him."

We might as well do. :-)
Not bad! Do we meet again in Streymoy Race on day 75?
